The J. Lewis Crozer Library boasts a rich history, proudly standing as Pennsylvania’s third-oldest library. Today, the library remains the City of Chester’s sole public library. Its mission, "Together, we empower Chester and beyond by ensuring equitable access to information, ideas, and opportunities," reflects its unwavering commitment to meeting the needs and aspirations of Chester and beyond. The library offers a diverse range of experiences and learning opportunities through community-centered programs and services. In addition to its extensive print collection, the library provides free Wi-Fi, public computer access, lendable hotspots, a wide selection of free electronic resources, and an outdoor StoryWalk®, to name a few.
