Delaware County Libraries Hold Period Product Drive

In an effort to fight period poverty in Delaware County, Delaware County Libraries is hosting a period product drive. Period poverty is a lack of access to menstrual products, hygiene facilities, waste management, and education. The Alliance for Period Supplies has reported that 1 in 4 people in the United States who menstruate cannot afford period products. The effects of period poverty can lead to lowered confidence and disruptions in education, community participation, and workplace productivity. Please consider donating to support access to free period supplies in libraries across the County. 

Accepted products include: pads, tampons, liners, and sanitary wipes. The drive begins November 13 and runs through January 8. Donations can be dropped off at the following libraries:
