Libraries on the Frontlines of Homelessness

On March 15, the Upper Darby/Sellers Memorial Free Library Municipal Branch and Delaware County Libraries were honored to host Ryan Dowd, author of the book The Librarian’s Guide to Homelessness, and ABC News for a special training for library staff entitled Homeless Patrons: How to Compassionately (and Confidently) Handle Problematic Behavior. Watch the ABC News story here.
