The Delaware County Library System (DCLS) and the 26 member libraries are participating in the statewide Summer Reading Club.

The program includes story times, songs, games, craft activities, fun contests, and special events (schedule below). Participants in the program will have the opportunity to read for pleasure with the added incentive of earning prizes. Each of the libraries will offer Summer Reading Club and Metamorphosis (for teens). Check with your library for dates, times and registration.

Go Buggy w/David Perry- popular entertainer will provide music, art and props for this interactive program.

Hooray 4 Bugs- Artist Victoria O’Neill presents this interactive theatrical storytelling event. Children will create either a butterfly or stinkbug wand.

Makin’Music- Interactive program includes action songs, lullabies, play-alongs, seasonal songs and chants.

Sparkle the Clown- Leap, Hop, Wiggle & Waddle- Using music and movement this program will entertain and delight all ages.

What’s Bugging You? The Bug Show- Featuring the ever popular Jungle John. The program includes demonstration bugs as well as live bugs.
