Ridley Township Public Library Announcements WIRELESS CONNECTIONS
FOR LAPTOP NOW AVAILABLE! You can now bring your laptop to the library for
internet access. Electrical outlets are limited so you might
want to charge your battery before coming. Friends If you are
interested in joining the Friends of Ridley Township Public Library, please
contact the Director, for further information. 2007 Statistics for the Ridley Township
Library 12,628 Registered patrons – 72,152 Items in our collection - 162235 Items
circulated and 186,769 visits. Governance: A library board of
seven members is appointed to three-year terms by the Township Commissioners
as provided for in the Library Code of the State of Pennsylvania. The board
determines policies, goals and finances for the library. The library board
generally meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00pm. The next
meetings scheduled for the following dates: April 28, 2008, May 19, 2008, June 23,
2008, August 25, 2008, September 22, 2008, October 27, 2008, December 1,
2008. Meetings are in the lower level library meeting room. Board Members: President: Patricia
McKelvie Fines Overdue fines are
calculated per day. The overdue rates are as follows:
Hours: During the summer months, the library will be
closed on Sundays. This takes effect after schools close in late June. The
normal opening schedule applies after Labor day. Please check back
