Ridley Township Computers and your library Library card holders
can make use of more than ten personal computers--as well as the ones that
look up titles in our circulating and reference collections. Register at the
desk to use the computers, and you can do the following... Word processing,
spreadsheets, graphics A Macintosh computer
in our Boeing Computer Center has wireless access to the internet with
Microsoft applications for creating documents. A DeskJet color
inkjet printer for hard copy is available. We also have 5 IBM compatible PC's using Microsoft Office. Internet browsing We have six PCs
hooked up to the Internet for Web browsing. In addition to the Web sites you
can visit from any Net-ready computer, we also provide access to several
subscription-only databases free of charge, including the Philadelphia
Inquirer and a magazine article search from EBSCO Online. CD-ROMs Our children's
section downstairs has a single PC that uses children's entertainment and
reference CD-ROMs and another PC for Internet access. The children's library
also circulates CD-ROMs for children. Games for XBox, Nitendo, Game Cube, and
play station are also available.( $2.00 per week, limit 2.) HOME ACCESS You may access many
databases from home as part of The Power Library. Go to the
Delaware County Library System web site: www.delcolibraries.org. Click on the
Power Library link and put in your Delaware County Library Card fourteen-
digit barcode number for home access to these Delaware County Library System
