Each summer, Delaware County Libraries host Journey Across Delco-a challenge to children and their families to travel around the county and check out the activities that each library has to offer! For those who make it to at least five libraries, they are invited to an end of summer party in Rose Tree Park, and for those who make it to all 28 of our libraries, there is a special prize waiting for you!

The Pennsylvania Young Reader's Choice Award is sponsored by the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association. The purpose of the award is to promote the reading of quality books by young people in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to promote teacher and librarian involvement in children's and young adult literature, and to honor authors whose works have been recognized by the students of Pennsylvania.
