Pals For Reading Workshops

Participating children attend monthly events at which they practice
their reading skills by reading aloud to trained therapy dogs.
Reading to animals helps shy children and children having trouble
learning to read build confidence in their literacy skills.
These
programs are free, but registration is required. Space is very
limited, and children are expected to attend all three sessions.
Please contact the library hosting the program to see if there
is space available.
