Find eBooks & Audiobooks

Delaware County Libraries provides access exclusively for library card holding residents of Delaware County to several collections of eBooks, audiobooks, and e-magazines to use, download, or view online.

Hoopla - Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics, and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone, with no wait times! Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets to view later.

Libby by OverDrive - (Audiobooks, ebooks, magazines) Popular fiction and non-fiction titles. Download ebooksaudiobooks, and magazines onto your iOS or Android device. Help using Libby is available here. (Libby is not available for the Kindle Fire. Please use Overdrive.) The Libby app is now available on your desktop as well.  Get the mobile app for your portible device at iTunes and the Google Play Store.

Digital Magazines - Thousands of complete issues of magazines to download and read on your computer or portable device are now available in Libby by OverDrive.

Capstone Interactive - Need a book right now? Then try our collection of simultaneous use e-books for kids in K-6th grade. Many science non-fiction available as well as chapter books with diverse main characters. These books are always available!

BookFlix - An online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction from Children’s Press and other trusted Scholastic imprints. It is published by Scholastic Inc. BookFlix was developed in collaboration with Weston Woods Studios and engineered by Grolier Interactive. (Available to all PA residents with library cards through PowerLibrary.)

TrueFlix - Learn about people, places, nature, history, and science from videos and eBooks on topics such as American Indians, Ancient Civilizations, Farm to Table, The Civil War, Continents, The Thirteen Colonies, U.S. Government, Disasters, Earth Science, Experiments, Extreme Science, Nature, and many more. 

Tumblebooks - Animation, sound, music and narration are added to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book for children to read or to read to children.

eBooks on EBSCOHost - Fiction and nonfiction titles, which can be searched or read cover to cover.  A good source for homework assignments. ​(Available to all PA residents with library cards through PowerLibrary.)
