Cell Phone Recycling

The County of Delaware, the Delaware County Library System (DCLS) and the Delaware County Solid Waste Authority have teamed up to bring cell phone recycling bins to 21 DCLS member libraries.

Residents are invited to bring their cell phones and cell phone power cords to recycle in the blue plastic bins. Please do NOT bring your boxes, manuals, earbuds or car adapters to recycle.

The best cell phones will be given to domestic abuse programs, and the remaining phones will be recycled responsibly.

Also, Marple Public Library and Swarthmore Public Library participate in a different cell phone recycling project.
