Teen Art Contest

Get inspired by the Longwood Gardens Community Read for teens and submit your own weird plant artwork to Delaware County Libraries’ Teen Art Contest.

How to Enter
Visit your local library to pick up an entry form and view a copy of Chris Thorogood’s book Weird Plants for inspiration.  Create your own weird plant artwork and fill out the entry form.  Drop both off at your local library. The entry form can also be found at the link below.

Contest Dates
Artwork will be accepted at participating libraries February 19th through February 28th at 5 p.m.  Artwork will be displayed in local libraries through March 10th.  One winning piece from each library will be displayed county-wide at Rose Tree Park StoryWalk with voting by the public from March 19th through March 31st.

Winners        
Each local winner will receive a Reeves Water Mixable Oil Paint Set and a ticket good for up to 4 people for entry to Longwood Gardens. Winners will be announced March 13th. The County-wide winner will receive 2 tickets to the Longwood Gardens’ Movie showing of Little Shop of Horrors and an opportunity to meet Chris Thorogood and receive a signed copy of Weird Plants.
