Teen Art Contest

Once again it's time for our Teen Art Contest, inspired by the 2021 Longwood Gardens Community Read book selections! All artwork should be inspired by the Community Read theme of birds. Entries must be an original artwork depicting a bird; either real or from the student’s imagination. Entries may be hand drawn or painted. No photography or 3D. Original artwork must be 9x12 or smaller. (If submitted electronically, we will print it out at 8 1/2 x 11)

How to Enter:
Use this form to submit your artwork to your local library or submit your artwork online here. 

Contest Dates:
Artwork will be accepted online and in person, Feb. 1st through Feb. 22nd at 5 p.m. Local library winners will be announced March 12th. Winning pieces from each local library will be displayed at Rose Tree Park StoryWalk and on this webpage for voting from March 22nd through March 31st.

Winners:        
Each local winner will receive a pastel set and a ticket good for up to 4 people for entry to Longwood Gardens. The County-wide winner will be announced April 1st and will receive a teen book basket and recognition on the County website and social media channels.
