Delaware County Libraries’ Reading Challenges

Coming Soon! For Ages 6-17: Remake Learning Days

Join us as we read and learn in a fun new way with Remake Learning Days. Remake Learning Days is an innovative learning festival for families and youth! Taking root in regions across the world, thousands of hands-on and engaging events are designed for kids of all ages at libraries, schools, tech centers, museums, play spaces, community centers and more. This challenge will run May 2nd-22nd.

Coming Soon! For Ages 18-109: Longwood Gardens Community Read

In Julia Kelly's The Last Garden in England, gardens are metaphors for the stages of life. And just as Longwood Gardens has brought beauty and meaning to the lives of generations, so too does Highbury House—whose lovely gardens are at the center of this historical fiction novel spanning three generations. Complete the challenge based on this book and receive a voucher for tickets to Longwood Gardens! This challenge will run May 1-31.

For Ages 6-Adult: Love Earth

Join us as we read and give some love to our home planet, Earth! Complete some fun solar eclipse activities as well as activities to help you reduce your environmental impact. There are logging, reviewing and activity badges for you to earn. This challenge will run April 1-30.
