Delaware County Libraries provides access exclusively for library card holding residents of Delaware County to a collection of electronic newspapers magazines and news databases, to use, download, or view online.

AP Newsroom - From the PA Power Library, today's news and the greatest events in 185 years of world history in photographs, audio sound bites, video, and graphics. Over 3,000 additions daily, including audio and visual snapshots.
Access World News - Extensive coverage at every level—international, national, regional, state and local. This fully searchable resource features news content from all 50 U.S. states as well as more than 5,300 international news sources from 140 countries. This includes more than 528 million current and archived news articles. Readers can pinpoint information, compare diverse views, and track subjects geographically and over time with the deepest newspaper archives available.
Delaware County Daily Times - 1994-present.  Local and national news, and a primary source of obituaries.
Delaware County Daily Times Historic Archives - Requires you to create an account, be sure to select the FREE option. Includes the Chester Daily Times (1876-1881), Chester Evening Times (1886), Chester Reporter (1941), Chester Times (1882-1959), Delaware County Daily Times (1959-1994).
Greater Philadelphia Metro Collection - Single search for 26 newspapers in the Philadelphia region. 
Gale Onefile News - From the PA Power Library, browse and read full-text newspapers from more than 2,300 major newspapers, including the New York Times. Content covers global, national, U.S. regional and local newspapers. Search articles instantly by title, headline, date, author, newspaper section, or other fields.  This database also includes popular magazines, thousands of images, radio and TV broadcasts, and transcripts.
Philadelphia Inquirer - One search, three databases using beautiful new search screens:
  • Philadelphia Inquirer Historic  1829-1922
  • Philadelphia Inquirer text edition 1981-Current
  • Philadelphia Inquirer Image edition 2018-Current
