Health
Literacy First is
a project funded by the National Library of Medicine, National
Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services.
Its primary purpose is to lead target groups--native speakers
of English who have reading/writing challenges and early
ELL (English Language Learning) students or candidates--to
useful consumer-health information.
However,
the general public--Delaware Countians in particular--will
find a variety of useful health tips and resources in both
the presentation and website links shown below.
This
project has been funded in whole or in part with Federal
funds from the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes
of Health, Department of Health and Human Services, under
Contract No. NO1-LM-6-3501 with New York University.
We
acknowledge with gratitude the support of the Delaware County
